Adding Pennsylvania to our Sticker Map!!!

We stopped at theWilliamsport / Nittany Mountain KOA campground on the way up to NY as it was a nice half-way point and seemed easy to access from our route. We were in Site #11.  It was difficult to get into based on the location of trees both on the site itself and along the road. Travis “bumped” a tree with the truck bumper while attempting to back in. Once we finally wiggled into the site and leveled out (needed about 4 inches on one side), we discovered that we could not open our main slide fully because of a tree on that side of the trailer. We had about 2-3 more inches to fully extend. Since we were only staying for about 18 hours, we decided to just stay in place and make the best of it. If we were there for longer, we might have requested a different site… while we had room to move over on the site, the narrow road would have made it difficult.

The kids loved it… especially our daughter. She immediately made a friend and they were out until dark playing on the updated playground (they had a fun “zip-line”). As for the adults… it was super noisy and very busy at our particular site. We were right by the playground, pool and bathhouse. While it was convenient to be so close, it also made for a lot of foot traffic. If we were to stay there for a longer visit, we'd choose a spot farther back. We didn’t get a chance to walk the full campground because of rain, but our favorite site we saw would be #49.
